Team Leader, Claims Advisers

The Role:
Based in our Christchurch office, reporting to Manager, Transactional Claims, you will work with a team of Claims Advisers and Seniors focused on lodging, assessing, managing, and settling claims across various FMG products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of Claims Advisers to deliver consistent, professional, and client-focused claims service.
- Provide support, development, and tools to Claims Advisers to enhance their performance.
- Analyse team performance and offer support and recognition where appropriate.
- Collaborate with the Claims team and the wider organisation to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Maintain a high standard of client service and ensure all claims are handled efficiently and effectively.
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience in a leadership role within a claims or customer service environment.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to understand and improve team performance.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively across teams and departments.
