We’re looking for a Teacher in Training to join our supportive team in a permanent role (40 hours per week, Monday to Friday). This is a fantastic opportunity to grow your teaching practice while studying and gain hands-on experience in a collaborative, high-quality ECE environment.
About the Role
As a Teacher in Training, you’ll work alongside experienced kaiako to support the learning and development of our tamariki. You’ll contribute to planning, assessment, and creating meaningful learning experiences aligned with Te Whāriki.
What We’re Looking For
- Currently enrolled in a Level 7 ECE Bachelor or Graduate Diploma programme
- A passion for child-led learning and curriculum development
- Understanding of Te Whāriki and ECE Regulations
- A strong commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi in practice
- A genuine love for teaching and learning
- A positive, enthusiastic, and proactive attitude
