BestStart Waitangirua is looking for an enthusiastic Teacher in Training who is ready to learn, grow and begin building a rewarding career in ECE.
You don’t need to have years of experience. We’re looking for someone with a genuine passion for working with tamariki, a willingness to learn and a positive attitude. You’ll be surrounded by an experienced and supportive team who can help you develop your confidence and teaching practice while you study.

About the Role
This is a permanent position working 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
We would love to hear from you if you are:
- In your first year of a recognised Level 7 ECE qualification
- Or planning to begin a recognised ECE qualification in 2027
- Passionate about working with tamariki
- Keen to learn from an experienced ECE team
- Looking for an opportunity to gain practical experience while studying
