BestStart Wainoni is seeking an enthusiastic and nurturing Teacher in Training, who thrives in a busy environment and is a quick learner. You will enjoy being part of an established and experienced Nursery Team, who can offer valuable mentoring and coaching. Our focus is to provide quality education to the children in our community.  If you have a passion for teaching young children, we want to hear from you. 

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • a sense of humour

Role requirements: 

  • Enrolment into a level 7 ECE Bachelor or Graduate Diploma course 
  • Good understanding of child-led curriculum, planning and extending on our children's learning 
  • Demonstrate good knowledge of the current ECE Regulations, Te Whariki and hold compliance in a high regard 
  • A strong commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi through pedagogical practices 
  • Passion and commitment for teaching and learning with a focus on delivering quality 

This is a permanent part-time position working 32 hours over 5 days, between 7am – 6pm.
