About Us

At BestStart St Albans, we provide an environment where tamariki can thrive and truly be themselves. Our large, natural outdoor area features a vegetable garden where children learn about growing, harvesting, and cooking their own food. With challenging equipment, a sandpit, a mud pit, and a water feature, our tamariki are encouraged to explore, get messy, and enjoy being kids.

We celebrate learning through daily mat times filled with songs, stories, and dancing, and each classroom follows a learning focus inspired by the children’s own interests or community events. Our dedicated team plans individual experiences to support each child’s unique learning journey.
