BestStart Kokomea is a brand-new early learning centre currently under construction in Taupō. We’re passionate about providing high-quality education and care for children aged 3 months to 5 years, while creating a warm and inclusive environment where children, whānau and teachers can thrive.
We’re looking for an enthusiastic Teacher in Training to join our team in a full-time, 40-hour-per-week position.
This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your teaching skills, gain valuable hands-on experience, and learn alongside a supportive team of experienced educators.
About You
You will:
- Be currently enrolled in a Level 7 Early Childhood Education (ECE) course.
- Bring energy, creativity, positivity and a willingness to learn.
- Build strong, respectful and meaningful relationships with children and whānau.
- Be flexible and confident working with children across different age groups.
- Value culturally responsive, inclusive and respectful teaching practices.
- Enjoy creating engaging learning experiences through play.
