We are a purpose-built early learning centre located at the foot of Huntsbury Hill, near the Ōpāwaho river. Children are viewed as capable, competent, life-long learners who are encouraged to make their own learning choices, at their own pace, in a positive, productive environment.
About the role:
If you have a passion for teaching young children and are currently enrolled to study in a level 7 ECE programme (ECE Bachelor or Graduate Diploma), we want to hear from you. This is a part time position working across Nursery and Toddlers, while also providing break cover across the centre when required. This position is Tuesday, Thursday and Friday each week working 18.75 hours between the hours of 8:00-4:00pm.

We are looking for the following:
- Enrolment into a level 7 ECE Bachelor or Graduate Diploma course
- Good understanding of child-led curriculum, planning and extending on our children's learning
- Demonstrate good knowledge of the current ECE Regulations, Te Whariki and hold compliance in a high regard
- A strong commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi through pedagogical practices
- Passion and commitment for teaching and learning with a focus on delivering quality
- Friendly, team player.
