We’re lucky to be in a great location, right on the main road into Halswell with the Halswell Domain in walking distance, perfect for the spontaneous outings our tamariki love. With tamariki bringing their own lunchboxes and enjoying our nutritious morning and afternoon teas, we also help them build the self-care skills they’ll need as they prepare for school.
About the role:
We’re looking for a Teacher in Training enrolled in a Level 7 ECE Bachelor or Graduate Diploma programme. This is a permanent position (30–35 hours, Monday–Friday) working with our over 2s, in a space full of laughter, curiosity, and child-driven learning.
What you’ll bring:
- Enrolment in a Level 7 ECE Bachelor or Graduate Diploma
- Passion for child-led learning and extending children’s curiosity
- Knowledge of Te Whāriki, ECE regulations, and compliance requirements
- Commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi and inclusive practice
- Energy, humour, and a genuine love of teaching and learning
