BestStart Glasgow Street is seeking a passionate and dedicated Teacher in Training to join our energetic and tight-knit team in our under 2's room. Our focus is to provide quality education to the children in our community.

This is a permanent position working 40 hours per week.

About the Role:

If you have a passion for teaching young children and are currently enrolled to study in a level 7 ECE programme (ECE Bachelor or Graduate Diploma), we want to hear from you.

Role requirements:

Commit to making a difference in the lives of young learners with a team dedicated to excellence. 

We are looking for the following: 

  • Enrolment into a level 7 ECE Bachelor or Graduate Diploma course 
  • Good understanding of child-led curriculum, planning and extending on our children's learning 
  • Demonstrate good knowledge of the current ECE Regulations, Te Whariki and hold compliance in a high regard 
  • A strong commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi through pedagogical practices 
  • Passion and commitment for teaching and learning with a focus on delivering quality
