BestStart Allenton is seeking a passionate and dedicated Teacher in Training to join our energetic, tight-knit team. We are committed to providing high‑quality education and care for the tamariki in our community. Togetherness truly happens here.

About Us

Our local curriculum is shaped by the aspirations of our Kaiako and whānau. Our cultural narrative is inspired by the braided rivers of our region, symbolising the unique learning journey each child takes. Just as each braid contributes to the strength of the river, the influences of family, preschool, and community all play an important role in a child’s life.

We are located close to Allenton School and local shops, with a small, supportive team that values strong community connections. We enjoy welcoming whānau into our centre, and every Thursday our tamariki take part in music sessions that bring our space to life.

We are looking for a first‑year Teacher in Training or someone preparing to begin their ECE study to join our nurturing under‑twos team.
