The Opportunity

UCOL Ltd is currently seeking Expressions of Interest for contractors to teach Te Reo Maori (beginners and intermediate level) to our adult community education classes. These classes are taught predominantly in the evenings during the working week.

You will be teaching groups of up to 20 adults to help them learn the basics of Te Reo Maori including greeting, tikanga, mihimihi, waiata and karakia.

The ideal candidates will be confident in teaching Te Reo Maori and will teach either on our Palmerston North campus or in the community at one of our approved off-site locations. You will have experience in teaching and a solid understanding of working with adult learners.

You will join a team that embraces the growth of Te Reo Maori and in sharing culture to foundation language learners.
