Talent Acquisition Coordinator (9-month fixed term role)

National Support Office, Auckland

Mō te Tūranga | About the Role

As our Talent Acquisition Coordinator, you’ll play a pivotal role in delivering a seamless, efficient, and high-quality recruitment experience across our hospitals and National Support Office. Sitting at the heart of our Talent Acquisition function, you’ll provide end-to-end coordination across the hiring lifecycle - from job advertising and interview logistics through to employment offers, onboarding, and pre-employment processes. Working closely with our Talent Acquisition team, People & Culture, and hiring managers, you’ll ensure every step is delivered with pace, precision, and a strong focus on candidate experience. You’ll be instrumental in keeping our recruitment engine running smoothly - managing documentation, coordinating approvals, and supporting high-volume and critical hiring activity across the business. From generating contracts and tracking onboarding progress, to coordinating pre-employment checks and maintaining system accuracy, your attention to detail and proactive approach will ensure our new starters are set up for success from day one.

Beyond coordination, you’ll help elevate the overall experience for both candidates and hiring managers. You’ll manage communications with professionalism and care, ensure timely updates throughout the hiring/onboarding journey, and act as a trusted support across the business. You’ll also support immigration processes (monitoring visa compliance, coordinating job checks, and contributing to employer accreditation requirements) ensuring we continue to meet our obligations while attracting talent from both locally and internationally. This is a fantastic opportunity to build your career in Talent Acquisition while making a meaningful impact in a purpose-driven healthcare organisation. This is a full time 9- month fixed term position covering parental leave based in our National Support Office in Auckland CBD.
