Mō te tūranga – About the role
This role is responsible for providing system administration and support across a range of business and clinical applications, ensuring systems are reliable, optimised, and meet the needs of the organisation. Connecting with the business, building relationships with our sites, and developing an understanding of how our business operates is key.
Time will be spent with users across PSC to understand their roles, processes, challenges, and desired outcomes before recommending system or process changes. You will help ensure technology is configured and improved in ways that reflect operational needs, remove unnecessary complexity, and make it easier for teams to do their jobs.
You will apply business analysis skills to identify problems, gather and document requirements, map current processes, assess impacts, and work with stakeholders to develop practical solutions. This includes understanding the full picture across people, processes, information, and technology rather than focusing only on the system itself.
Key responsibilities include:
Travelling to our sites across the lower and central North Island is required and may include occasional overnight stays at times.
Mō koe – About you
You recognise that successful systems are built around a user-centred approach; understanding that systems should be practical and support people and operational processes.
You can balance technical knowledge with strong business analysis, communication, and relationship-building skills. You are able to translate between users, technical teams, and vendors, helping each group understand the problem, the desired outcome, and the practical steps required to achieve it. As a result you will be adapt at building working relationships through your strong communication and engagement with people at all levels.
