Our Supporter Care team plays a key role in building strong relationships with our supporters and helping to grow our impact. They are dedicated to looking after our donors and customers, making sure every interaction is positive and meaningful. By delivering a great supporter experience, the team helps support the retention and growth of funds for the organisation, to the benefit of individuals and families across New Zealand who are affected by heart disease

❤️About the role

You’ll be at the heart of our supporters’ experience, handling both inbound and outbound calls and responding to enquiries with warmth, empathy and professionalism. From processing donations and lottery orders to keeping our CRM up to date, your attention to detail will be key. Making retention and stewardship calls with enthusiasm and skill will be a cornerstone of your work.

This role suits someone who is confident on the phone, adaptable when things change, and calm under pressure. You’ll work closely with a supportive team, building positive connections with our supporters every day.

❤️What you’ll bring

  • At least two years’ experience in a similar role, with a strong focus on inbound and outbound calling
  • Confidence on the phone, with a warm, empathetic and professional approach
  • A genuine enjoyment of connecting with people and building relationships
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy when processing donations and updating records
  • Clear communication skills and the ability to work well with others
  • A collaborative, positive team mindset
  • Willingness to learn and grow, with an interest in fundraising
  • Experience using a CRM system, ideally in a not-for-profit
