Join Our Team as a Supported Independent Living (SIL) Support Worker!
Location: Whanganui
Employment Type: Part Time (56 hours per fortnight - Mixed Sleepover and Awake Support)
Pay Scale: $23.50 - $29.10

We are looking for caring, reliable, and motivated individuals to join our Supported Independent Living team. In this role, you will support people with intellectual, physical, or psycho social disabilities to live independently and lead meaningful lives in their own homes and communities.
What you’ll do:
✅ Support people to achieve their personal goals
✅ Assist with daily living tasks – such as cooking, cleaning, budgeting, or medication
✅ Encourage community participation and connection
✅ Foster independence, choice, and self-determination
✅ Uphold and promote person-centred, strengths-based support
What we’re looking for:
✔ Experience in disability, mental health or aged care (preferred but not essential)
✔ A genuine passion for supporting others
✔ Strong communication and teamwork skills
✔ Patience, empathy, and respect for diversity
✔ A full NZ driver’s license
✔ A current First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
✔ The right to work in New Zealand
