About the Role: We have two part-time permanent wake-over Support Worker opportunities available.

Position 1 Hours - 57 hours per fortnight

Position 2 Hours - 65 hours per fortnight

Skills and Experience:

A Passion for People: Be motivated, energetic, patient, and kind, with the ability to understand, communicate, and genuinely connect with people
Experience: Must have 2 years minimum experience working in the Mental Health Sector
Empathy & Understanding: An understanding of Enabling Good Lives principles.
Awake Overnight: Ability to remain awake and alert through the shift to provide support to residents as required.
Team Player: Professional, honest, and a reliable team-player with a flexible mindset.
Practical Skills: The ability to carry out personal cares, including showering and dressing.
Driver Licence: A Full NZ Driver Licence is essential, as driving a MASH van will be part of your role.
Relevant Qualification (or commitment to obtain): A NZ Certificate in Health & Wellbeing or a commitment to working towards this qualification, which will be funded by MASH Trust

This role is ideal for students, particularly those studying nursing, who are looking to gain valuable experience.
