About the Roles:  We have two sleepover roles working 105 hours per fortnight in Palmerston North working one to one with male tangata whaiora and seeking people who are person centred, who are creative thinkers and enjoy helping others achieve their goals.

Position One 

Week 1: Monday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday 5pm until 8am the following day
Week 2: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 5pm until 8am the following day

Position Two

Week 1: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 5pm until 8am the following day
Week 2: Monday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday 5pm until 8am the following day


We're Looking For Someone With:

  • A Passion for People: Be patient, friendly, and kind, with the ability to understand, communicate, and support others to achieve their goals
  • Driver Licence: A Full NZ Driver Licence is essential, as driving a MASH van will be part of your role.
  • Empathy & Understanding: An understanding of Enabling Good Lives principles.
  • Team Player: Professional, honest, and a reliable team-player with a flexible mindset.
  • Practical Skills: The ability to assist with personal cares
  • Previous Experience: Lived or work experience in disability and or mental health or other health sector
  • Relevant Qualification (or commitment to obtain): A NZ Certificate in Health & Wellbeing or a commitment to working towards this qualification, which will be funded by MASH Trust.
