VisionWest Home HealthCare is an established provider and has over 20 years’ experience providing quality, professional home help support to people, enabling them to live independently within their own homes. Our clients include people of all ages, with varying needs - from a young person living with a complex disability, to an older person requiring home help. We are seeking a committed, caring and compassionate person; with energy, enthusiasm, the ability to think on their feet and stay calm under pressure. To provide quality in-home care to one of our beautiful clients who require support 24/7. This is an opportunity to become a part of someone's life. You will be a friend whose involvement will undoubtedly have an impact.  Permanent shift work available from 8.00 am to 4.00 pm (day shift) and 4.00 pm  to 8.00 am (night shift).

 The Role

Our Support Workers assist our clients to live as independently as possible with a range of different tasks: 

  • Household tasks - cleaning, vacuuming, laundry etc 
  • Meal preparation
  • Personal care - showering, toileting, dressing etc
  • Community living - shopping, exercise etc
  • Medication oversight - prompting/supervising clients with medication
  • Mobility assistance – assisting client’s mobility with walking frames, hoists etc.
