Support Worker – Weekend Shifts | Cromwell, Central Otago

Are you passionate about helping others live their best lives? We’re looking for caring, reliable Support Workers to join our team in Cromwell for weekend shifts.

Part-Time | Weekend Availability Essential

Location: Cromwell, Central Otago

About the role:

You will be providing essential support to people in their homes and community, including:

• Personal cares (showering, dressing, toileting).
• Medication support.
• Meal preparation and home management tasks.
• Assistance with mobility and daily routines.
• Community outing and companionship.

You’ll work across a variety of shifts – morning, lunch, afternoon, evenings, and weekends – based on client needs and your availability.

About you:

We’re looking for support workers who:

• Experience in support work or care is a plus – but not essential. Full training provided!
• Are confident working independently in home-based settings.
• Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Show empathy, patience, and professionalism at all times.
• Hold a Full or Restricted NZ driver’s licence (own transport preferred).
• Are eligible to work in New Zealand.
• Relevant qualifications (e.g. NZ Certificate in Health & Wellbeing) are a plus, but not essential if you bring strong experience and the right attitude.
