About the Role
Toe Toe House, situated in Templeton, is seeking a dedicated individual for a role focused on providing support to Peter, an active community participant. Peter engages enthusiastically in various community activities, including assisting with cooking tasks such as vegetable preparation and contributing to household chores. Establishing and maintaining a routine is crucial for Peter, along with staying informed about upcoming community events, as he takes great pleasure in participating in them.
The ideal candidate should possess energy, empathy, and the ability to collaborate effectively with Peter. The primary objective is to facilitate a life filled with diverse experiences, with a keen sense of situational awareness, problem-solving skills, and the ability to establish appropriate boundaries or provide space when necessary. Daily responsibilities involve supporting Peter in daily routines, promoting independence for skill development and personal growth. Confidence in assisting with personal care, cooking, medication administration, and household tasks is essential. The candidate should be passionate about empowering individuals to connect with and contribute to their broader community.
For those seeking a fresh challenge, this opportunity offers a dynamic environment. The salary for this position is determined by pay equity and varies based on qualification level, ranging from $23.15 to $28.25 per hour.
