About the Roles: We have a role based in Palmerston North working one to one with male tangata whaiora
We are seeking someone who is person centred, a creative thinker and enjoys helping others achieve their goals.
Hours: This role can be part-time or full-time working every week Thursday and Sunday 7.50am - 5.10pm plus additional shifts to be discussed with the right applicant.
We're Looking For Someone With:
- A Passion for People: Be patient, friendly, and kind, with the ability to understand, communicate, and support others to achieve their goals
- Driver Licence: A Full NZ Driver Licence is essential
- Empathy & Understanding: An understanding of Enabling Good Lives principles.
- Team Player: Professional, honest, and a reliable team-player with a flexible mindset.
- Practical Skills: The ability to prompt personal cares
- Previous Experience: 2 -3 years work experience in the health sector, mental health experience preferable
- Relevant Qualification (or commitment to obtain): A NZ Certificate in Health & Wellbeing or a commitment to working towards this qualification, which will be funded by MASH Trust.
