We are looking for a caring, reliable, and hands-on Support Worker to join our Live My Life team, supporting clients to live independently in their own home.

Shifts Available

  • Monday: 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM
  • Tuesday to Thursday: 8:30 AM – 6:00 PM
  • Additional shifts may be available across other clients

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Supporting daily living tasks such as meal preparation and household activities
  • Providing hands-on support, including mobility assistance and personal care
  • Supporting community engagement and outings
  • Assisting with behavioural support, working calmly and safely
  • Building strong connections, including supporting clients who may be non-verbal
  • Creating a structured, positive, and respectful environment

What We’re Looking For

  • A mature, reliable, and patient individual
  • Comfortable with hands-on support and practical care
  • Ability to remain calm and confident in challenging situations
  • A compassionate, person-centred approach
  • Good communication and observation skills
  • Open to learning – experience is great, but not essential as we will provide training
  • Cultural awareness, an excellent understanding of diversity and community, including respect for Māori perspectives and tikanga Māori
