About the Role: Part-time permanent 72 hours per fortnight
We are looking for empathetic, passionate support workers to join our team committed to providing genuine care, warmth, and kindness to the people who live and work in the home If you are someone who brings compassion, patience, and a genuine interest in making a positive difference to others lives please apply.  


Week 1: Monday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday 7am - 3pm
Week 2: Monday 7am - 3pm, Tuesday 2pm 10.30pm, Wednesday 2.45 - 11.15pm, Saturday and Sunday 2pm - 10.30pm
 

This role specifically requires a Female as specified by the people we supports needs, under the Health and Disability Code of Rights and as provided for under Section 27 of the Human Rights Act 1993. 


We're Looking For Someone With:

  • A Passion for People: Be patient, friendly, and kind, with the ability to understand, communicate, and genuinely connect with people
  • Empathy & Understanding: An understanding of Enabling Good Lives principles.
  • Team Player: Professional, honest, and a reliable team-player with a flexible mindset.
  • Practical Skills: The ability to carry out personal cares, including showering and dressing.
  • Driver Licence: A Full NZ Driver Licence is essential, as driving a MASH van will be part of your role.
  • Previous Experience: Support Worker or Health Sector experience preferable
