Support Worker - Full time Kapiti
MASH Trust are a leading provider of disability, mental health, and addiction services.
We have services throughout the lower North Island with over 550 staff and volunteers. As a learning organisation we offer funded Health & Wellbeing qualifications and study days to support you with your learning.
We work as one team, empowering each other to promote community inclusion and self-determination for those we walk alongside.
We have a full-time position working 80 hours per week at Georgia Grove, Paraparaumu.
Week 1: Tuesday 12.30 - 9.30pm, Thursday 2.25pm - 11.15pm, Friday, Saturday and Sunday 12.30pm - 9pm
Week 2: Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday 12.30pm - 9pm, Saturday and Sunday 2.35pm - 11.15pm
Skills and Experience:
- An understanding of Enabling Good Lives principles
- Previous Support Worker experience required
- The ability to understand, communicate and connect with people
- Professionalism, honesty and be a reliable team player with a flexible approach
- Energy, enthusiasm and enjoy being part of a team
- The ability to carry out personal cares including showering and dressing
- Full NZ Driver Licence as part of your role will be driving a MASH van
- A NZ Certificate in Health & Wellbeing or commitment to working towards a qualification funded by MASH Trust
