What You’ll Do
As a valued member of our team, you will:
- Provide personalised, respectful support in people’s homes and within the community
- Assist with everyday tasks, life administration, and removing barriers to independence
- Encourage participation in social, recreational, and community activities
- Offer positive motivation, consistency, and genuine companionship
- Work collaboratively with families, colleagues, and community networks
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to individualised support plans
- Support independence with household tasks, meal preparation, and personal care
About You
You are:
- A great communicator – patient, calm, and able to build trust easily
- Fit, active, and adaptable, ready to support a range of needs
- Confident engaging with community groups and networks
- Available to work a fortnightly roster, including evenings and weekends
- A holder of a full New Zealand driver’s licence with access to a vehicle (mileage reimbursed)
- Eligible to work in New Zealand and able to meet police vetting requirements
