Are you passionate, caring, and keen to work alongside young (aged 13 – 18 yrs. old) Pacifica/ Māori persons with neuro-developmental needs to support them to live their best lives.  

The primary responsibility of this role is to support young people to live an active, enjoyable, culturally enriched life whilst providing a structured routine, ensuring activities of daily living are supported. 

If you are:

  • Experienced in the care of Pacifica/ Māori persons who are female with intellectual disability (including those persons who are non-verbal)
  • Physically fit
  • Interested in providing a culturally enriched environment.

And have: 

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Availability to work a 12-hour shift i.e., 7am – 7pm or 7pm – 7am
  • A high regard for privacy, confidentiality, and professionalism 
  • A full, clean New Zealand driver’s license and ability to drive to South Auckland
  • No criminal records and are willing to undergo the Vulnerable Children’s Act Vetting
  • Legal entitlement to live and work in NZ
