About the Role: 32 Hours per fortnight working every Saturday and Sunday 7.30am - 4.30pm
We are looking for a compassionate and reliable Support Worker to join our team in a weekend role at our AOD (Alcohol and Other Drug) residential rehabilitation service. This is a rewarding opportunity to support tāngata whai ora on their recovery journey in a safe, structured, and kaupapa Māori-aligned environment. The role involves providing practical support , such as grocery shopping, maintaining a calm and therapeutic space, and assisting with daily routines and activities.

If you’re passionate about making a difference, have strong interpersonal skills, and are available to work weekends, we’d love to hear from you. Experience in mental health or addiction services is an advantage, however full training will be provided.

  • Driver Licence: A Full NZ Driver Licence is essential, as driving a MASH van will be part of your role.
  • Relevant Qualification (or commitment to obtain): A NZ Certificate in Health & Wellbeing or a commitment to working towards this qualification, which will be funded by MASH Trust
