Key Details
Location: Hāwera Police Station
Salary: $53,128.68 gross per annum for 30 hours per week (pro rata from the full-time remuneration of $70,838.25 per annum).
Hours: Part-time, 30 hours a week. Sunday to Thursday, 5 days per week, 6 hours per day.
Eligibility: Applicants for this position must have the legal right to work in NZ and consent to undergo a NZ Police Vetting Process.

About the role | Mō te tūnga
We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Support Worker to join our team based in the Hāwera Station, as part of the Central/ Eastern district, to help support people affected by crime and traumatic events in our community.
Your day to day could look like:
- emotional support and practical assistance with support plans
- supporting clients to understand and access resources and clients’ rights
- providing guidance through the justice system, and safety planning of whanau and property
- connecting with local support services and counselling services where needed
