Mō te tūraka mahi | About the role
We seek an organised, learner-focused Support Coordinator to provide operational and assessment support to the CapableNZ facilitation team across a range of Individual Learner Pathway programmes.
Working alongside facilitators, the administration team, and the Head of School, this role supports assessment-related activities, learner profiling processes, and the smooth coordination of learner and programme support. You will play an important part in helping maintain a high-quality learner experience and consistent assessment practice across CapableNZ programmes.
This is a practical, hands-on coordination role where your attention to detail, calm approach, and ability to keep things moving will help facilitators stay focused on learner engagement, progression, and facilitation activities.

You will be someone who enjoys providing practical, well-organised support in a busy learner-centred environment. You will bring strong coordination skills, excellent communication, and the confidence to work across multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.
You will have experience in tertiary education, learner support, facilitation, assessment, or academic administration, along with the capability to support assessment activities at degree level.
You will also bring:
Experience supporting assessment or peer review processes, working in Individual Learning Pathway, work-based learning, professional practice, or RPL environments, and knowledge of tertiary quality assurance would be an advantage.
