FMG has a newly created opportunity for a Supply Chain Manager – Claims to play a key role in shaping how we partner with suppliers to deliver better outcomes for our clients and our Mutual.

This role is all about value — value for our clients, value for FMG, through strong, trusted supplier relationships. Working closely with our Claims and as part of the Procurement team, you’ll help identify opportunities to manage claims costs by establishing and maintaining high‑quality supplier partnerships that deliver efficient and customer‑focused service delivery across our material damage claims spend.

 In this role you’ll:

  • Identify opportunities across the claims supply chain to improve cost efficiency and performance using data and insights
  • Work with the Procurement team to source and onboard new suppliers
  • Own the performance management of material damage suppliers, including audit and reporting 
  • Act as the key point of contact for suppliers, managing SLAs, KPIs and continuous improvement
  • Resolve supplier issues and escalations, ensuring strong outcomes for our clients and claims teams
  • Support sourcing strategies and stay across market and industry developments
  • Ensure supplier compliance with contractual, legal, health and safety and FMG policy requirements

We’re looking for someone who enjoys working at the intersection of claims, procurement and supplier performance, and who builds strong relationships naturally.

You’ll bring:

  • At least 5 years’ experience in a claims environment, ideally with exposure to supplier or supply chain management
  • Experience in procurement, supplier performance management or a related commercial role
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to turn data into practical action
  • Confidence working with internal stakeholders and external suppliers
  • A solid understanding of insurance, risk and compliance requirements
  • Excellent communication skills and a pragmatic, outcomes‑focused mindset
