The Role

As the Supply Chain Manager, you will play a pivotal role in leading our supply chain team to ensure the seamless and efficient operation of our business. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of supply chain management, from forecasting requirements to production scheduling and inventory management. Your strategic mindset and proactive approach will drive the success of our supply chain initiatives, ultimately contributing to the growth and profitability of our organization.

Some key responsibilities include:

· Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a high-performing supply chain team to achieve excellence in performance and meet business objectives.

· Forecasting and Planning: Own and manage the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process to accurately forecast requirements and plan production schedules on a regular monthly cycle.

· Procurement Strategy: Set procurement strategy for the business, seeking competitive costs of goods sold (COGS) and terms through regular tender opportunities to minimize expenses.

· Supplier Management: Ensure materials and ingredient suppliers' systems are operating effectively, and establish purchasing agreements and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) with strategic providers. Review agreements regularly against performance criteria.

· Inventory Management: Accountable for maintaining the balance between delivering to markets and investing in stock, ensuring stock management policy is aligned with business needs. Manage global team inventory replenishment to meet demand requirements.

· Logistics and Distribution: Monitor and control SLAs at global warehouse locations, oversee supply and production planning at a 3-month horizon, and determine resource allocation priorities based on market needs.

· Product Development Integration: Participate in the product development process by providing inputs and analysis, and implement the integration of new products into the supply chain with minimal interruption to plans.

· Business Planning and Improvement: Manage and develop the business planning process, including improving tools, systems, and Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) documents. Provide executive reporting and conduct risk analysis for international trade movements and shipping.

· Compliance and Risk Management: Understand and plan for customs requirements at borders, and mitigate risks associated with Free Trade Agreement (FTA) changes.


 Our ideal candidate will have the following attributes and skills

· Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.

· Proven experience in supply chain management, with a focus on forecasting, procurement, inventory management, and logistics.

· Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team to achieve results.

· Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a strategic mindset.

· Knowledge of international trade regulations and customs requirements.

· Proficiency in ERP systems and supply chain management software.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
