Mō te Tūranga | About the Role

As a Supply Chain Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of key supply chain processes. Your primary areas of responsibility include Inwards Goods & Receiving, Inventory Management & Replenishment, Master Data Management. 

If you excel in a dynamic hospital environment, possess meticulous attention to detail, and are dedicated to optimizing inventory management and supply chain efficiency, this role offers a rewarding opportunity to significantly contribute to our hospital operations.

Key duties for the role include:

  • Oversee the accurate and timely receipt of hospital items, ensuring master data accuracy.
  • Manage 'first in first out' methodology for inventory storage, minimizing obsolescence.
  • Conduct stock counts as directed by the Supply Chain Manager, actively participating in discrepancy investigations.
  • Notify the Supply Chain Manager of potential stock out or overstock situations.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive product knowledge base, assisting hospital staff with inventory inquiries.
  • Identify continuous improvement opportunities to enhance cost-effectiveness and operational efficiency.
  • Adhere to SOPs, ensuring specific requirements are met in task completion.
  • Contribute to tactical planning and demand planning for the S&OP process.
  • Maintain housekeeping standards, ensuring tidy and clean storage areas.
