Due to a surge in work, we are currently looking for experienced Supervisors to join our teams Nationwide (Whangarei, Auckland, Waikato, Bay of Plenty, Wellington, Christchurch). In these roles you will be responsible for providing efficient co-ordination and supervision ensuring customer requirements are met in a safe and efficient manner.  If you are a highly motivated, energetic, quick-thinking individual with the ability to effectively lead a team ensuring all work, contracts and project plans are carried out to required levels of service, then we want to hear from you!  

You will be sharing leadership of teams with other Supervisors and the support of the Branch Manager. The role is diverse and is primarily focused on communicating with staff, suppliers and clients in person or via phone or email.

In addition to the attributes mentioned above, to be successful in this role you will require:

  • Strong written English and verbal communication skills.
  • Solid understanding of electrical & health and safety legislation
  • Electrical trade qualification with appropriate registration with the EWRB and a current practicing license. 
  • Computer literate with sound MS skills (word, excel and outlook experience).
  • A current driver’s license.
  • Strong customer service skills and calm under pressure.
  • A background in maintenance and fault finding, solar farm construction, and wastewater treatment would be advantageous.

People skills and a friendly helpful nature are a must, these are VERY people-oriented roles. We currently have a great team that work well together, the right personality for this role is crucial. From time to time, you will need to work on the tools but most importantly you need a solid understanding of the trade to answer questions from staff (electricians and apprentices).
