Streets Route, Driver and Storeman

The position we have available is conducting Streets / Mrs. Macs / Dad’s Pies / Red Bull distribution as well Foodservice and Storeman duties as required. You will be responsible for making sure Bidfood Hawkes Bay meets all distribution targets for both sales & merchandise set out by Streets as well as Foodservice distribution, working closely with our current VSR.

A successful candidate must be able to maintiain and build strong relationships with suppliers / customers.

We want the best, someone who achieves strong results within an FMCG environment. You'll need to be an effective communicator and have experience in creating workable strategies to maximize both sales and margins

Bidfood Hawkes Bay is the leading Foodservice provider in the greater Hawkes Bay, Gisborne and East Coast area & covers a large geographical area, we have a great team & looking for a highly motivated individual to compliment our existing sales team.

This is a hands on roll & requires a person who is physically fit, well organised & not afraid of hard work.

Key Performance Indicators 

• Sales growth and profitability of the Hawkes Bay, Gisborne and East Coast VSR regions
• Execution of all promotions, POS and merchandising
• Accuracy of planograms, fill weights
• Maximising distribution
• Reaching your monthly sales target
• Deliveries vs credits vs damages

The successful applicant should have:

• Full Class 1 licence requried (Class 2 desirable) as Class 2 truck training will be provided and offered to the right candidate. 
• Merchandising experience
• Ability to manage Fridge/Freezer Layouts & Planograms
• Product display and Point of Sale Execution
• Great communication skills
• Excellent Business acumen
• Minimum 1 years sales Experience
• Ability to work in a team and independently
• Excellent Administration Skills
• Competency of Microsoft Office applications

As well as the above competencies you must have the drive and determination to chase your numbers and excel against your KPI's and budgets. Putting in that "little bit extra" across your customer base will have to be part of your everyday routine.
