As a Strategic Pricing Analyst, you will play a crucial role in our Parts & Accessories Sales team. Your main responsibility will be to analyse pricing, sales, costings, and stock levels of parts and accessories. Your insights and recommendations will help us maximise value chain opportunities and drive our business forward. 

This opportunity is full time, fixed term (12 months), based on-site Monday – Friday at our Head Office in Palmerston North.

What’s involved in the role:

  • Develop and define budget requirements, conduct variance analysis, and present budget strategies to management.
  • Perform detailed analysis to identify trends and insights, supporting reporting and future strategies.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to explore value chain opportunities and provide analytical support.
  • Prepare accurate and timely reports on various parts operations KPIs and results.
  • Determine and implement pricing changes based on internal and external factors and monitor their effects.
  • Maintain the pricing framework to ensure consistency and alignment with business objectives.

To be successful in this role, ideally you will have:

  • Strong experience in data manipulation and statistical analysis.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
  • High level of computer literacy, particularly in Excel and data manipulation.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience in a similar role with knowledge of statistical analysis and tools.
