Store Person Driver

Part time hours 3 - 4 days per week.

About the role 

This role is integral to the day-to-day running of the food security warehouse. It involves the collection and handling of goods as a driver and contributing to the operation of a safe and efficient warehouse, including the induction and supervision of volunteers

What you will be doing

  • Collect and deliver goods in a responsible and timely manner, as per the agreed schedule.
  • Process donations as per the Mission policies and procedures.
  • Maintain company vehicles, ensure up to date WOF and registrations.
  • Train, supervise and support Mission volunteers as required.
  • Assist with stock management and warehouse upkeep.

What we are looking for

  • Previous experience in a similar role.
  • Capacity to demonstrate through actions commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi and the Mission’s values of Manaakitanga, Atawhai, Rangapū and Mana Tika, Mana Ōrite.
  • Must be physically fit and able to do heavy lifting.
  • Class one Drivers licence.
  • F – endorsement Forklift Licence.
