Store Manager - SPCA Op Shop - Remuera
Contract: Permanent, Full Time
Hours of work: 40 hours per week (Tuesday to Saturday roster-NO Late Nights!)
Location: SPCA Op Shop, Remuera, Remuera Road.
The role will require strong leadership with a focus on driving revenue through excellence in customer service.
The role will be busy, challenging, rewarding and great fun!
You will be responsible for setting up and launching the new shop. This is a hands-on role leading team of volunteers ensuring high level of customer service and retail operations. You will have good attention to detail, strong fashion merchanting skills, the ability to merchandise and present a retail shop to a high standard with the customer experience paramount in decision making.
Skills and abilities:
- A minimum of 2 years retail management experience
- Preloved, vintage and second hand fashion retail experience would be an advantage.
- Have excellent communication and customer service skills, be solutions focused with friendly and positive can-do attitude.
- Natural leadership skills that focuses on and values the team.
- Have proven ability to recruit, train and manage a high performing team of volunteers.
- Have hands on experience with visual merchandising
- Be comfortable using social media to engage and interact with local community.
- Excellent organisation skills and be able to prioritise and effectively manage workloads·
- Be a self-motivated team player, who is enthusiastic and passionate about animal welfare.
- Strong administration, computer skills - MS Office and POS.
