Mō te Tūranga | About the Role
We are looking for a Sterile Services Technician to join our Rotorua team.
You will be required to provide as part of the theatre team, a high standard of sterilising service consisting of the decontamination, inspection, testing, assembly, packing and sterilisation of reusable medical devices. This specifically involves the reprocessing of contaminated sets of surgical instruments, accessories and other related equipment used within our operating theatres.
Ngā pūkenga me ngā wheako | Skills and experience
- Current or previous sterile services experience within Operating Theatre is desirable, however on job training can be provided for the right candidate
- Be a team player with excellent communication skills – both written and verbal
- Good organisation skills
- To be flexible/adaptable and to respond positively to the changing needs of the business
