Our Sterile Services Roles 

We have exciting opportunities for experienced Sterile Service Technicians to join our Southern Cross Healthcare team! As a Sterile Services Technician, you will be working closely and collaboratively with the Clinical team, including the Clinical Nurse Specialists, Theatre Services Manager, Medical Specialists, and the wider Theatre department.

We have a range of roles available from junior technicians to senior team leaders and are willing to provide training to upskill the right people.

  • Experience in sterile services would be desirable but training can be provided for the right candidate 
  • Be a team player with excellent communication skills and a proactive nature 
  • Be flexible and adaptable with a willingness to learn 
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • We offer a Professional Development and recognition programme (PDRP) and support to become a registered technician with the NZ Sterile Science Association. (NZSSA)
  • Strong attention to detail will be essential for this role
