The Opportunity

This hands-on role involves developing applications and integrations between systems using APIs, contributing to solution planning, and supporting service operations. 

You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to build secure, scalable software while helping to optimize business processes and workflows. You’ll also participate in knowledge sharing, incident management, and continuous improvement of our service delivery. 

Who are you?

We’re looking for an emerging professional who is eager to take on new challenges and contribute to a high-performing team. Experience in the financial services industry is preferred but not essential.

Your excellent communication and negotiation skills are important as you’ll also participate in knowledge sharing, incident management, and continuous improvement of our service delivery. 

You will be required to contribute to project planning and technical design decisions, focusing on delivery of business value, as well as developing, testing, and deploying software applications and services, aligning with business goals and objectives.

In this role, you can expect to:

  • Develop and prepare software applications and code changes for deployment.
  • Ensure security, performance and data integrity standards are upheld across the team
  • Contribute to the evolution of the software development and deployment environments
  • Provide rostered 24 x 7 on-call Support for system related issues within the team’s responsibilities

We are looking for candidates who have:

  • 3+ years as a Software Engineer, developing in Java and/or .NET
  • 2+ years of experience working within cross-functional Agile teams
  • Effective communication, collaboration, and stakeholder engagement abilities
  • Willingness to take ownership of tasks and navigate complex systems
