The role
Reporting directly to the Associate Manager – Service Business Development, this role will see you responsible for completing the business analysis for sales initiatives and direction of the business across our service business.
As our Service Sales Analyst you will also ensure that what is actually happening in the business is meeting our strategic goals and provide insight into opportunities as well as forecasting and planning for new business directions and sales initiatives.
Some of your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing reports to provide insights on new and existing products and services and initiatives
- Preparing sales, margin and dealer reporting
- Completing monthly revenue calculations and governance for month end
- Complete audit and end of year requirements
- Enhance and update the financial model used for pricing
- Prepare department financial budgets and forecasts
About You
To excel in this role, you’ll bring a natural curiosity and strong analytical mindset, paired with a genuine passion for working with numbers and data. You’ll enjoy uncovering insights, interpreting information, and turning it into meaningful recommendations. Alongside your technical skills, you’ll have excellent interpersonal abilities, enabling you to communicate effectively.
This role is ideally suited to someone who has either recently graduated or has up to 3 years post graduate experience.
- An analytical or numbers-based degree and an understanding of foundation accounting principles
- Able to see beyond the data to provide real insights into the business
- Strong Microsoft Excel and BI capabilities (previous experience in Power BI is advantageous but not essential)
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate complex ideas in a simple, easy to understand manner
