About the Role

This is a technical “lead from the front” leadership position for someone who lives and breathes fluid power!

As our Service Manager, you’ll be actively involved in technical enquiries, troubleshooting, system design and technical diagnostics. Alongside this you will liaise with clients, manage technician service calls/jobs and coach, mentor and grow your team, ensuring every job is delivered to a high standard.

With Total Hydraulic Solutions entering an exciting new phase as part of Hydraulink Fluid Connectors, you’ll play a key role in strengthening our technical capability while helping to grow a high-performing service operation that is the best in the business.

What you’ll be doing

  • Leading and managing the fluid power service and repair division
  • Providing advanced fluid power diagnostics and troubleshooting
  • Supporting workshop and field teams with technical problem-solving
  • Overseeing and prioritising jobs to ensure quality and efficiency
  • Quoting and scoping technical repair work
  • Maintaining high standards across workmanship, safety, and compliance
  • Building and maintaining strong customer and supplier relationships
  • Mentoring and upskilling technicians to be the best in the business
  • Driving business growth and identifying new service opportunities

About you

  • Strong background in mobile and industrial fluid power systems
  • Highly capable in diagnostics, fault finding, and hydraulic systems
  • Proven leadership experience managing and growing workshop or service teams
  • A proactive and solutions-focused attitude
  • Good communication skills with both customers and team members
  • Takes pride in quality workmanship and doing the job right
  • Motivated to contribute to a growing, high-performing operation
