Service Manager
Service Manager – Ingham Taupo Great Lake
We are looking for a Service Manager to take ownership of our multi-brand Service operation in Taupo, covering Chery, GWM, Hyundai, Isuzu, Nissan, Omoda Jaecoo, and Holden.
This is a hands-on leadership role. You will be responsible for performance, people, and process across the workshop and parts department, with a clear focus on productivity, profitability, and customer experience.
You will step into a functioning operation that needs tighter structure and consistent leadership to perform at its best.
The Role
- Lead the day-to-day operation of Service
- Drive workshop productivity, WIP control, and labour sales
- Improve customer communication and overall experience
- Set, track, and deliver departmental budgets and targets
- Ensure brand standards and processes are consistently met across all represented brands
- Work closely with the front line to improve booking, workflow, and delivery
- Build capability within the team, holding people accountable
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience in a Service Manager, Aftersales Manager, or similar role
- Strong understanding of workshop flow, technician management, and productivity
- Comfortable working in a hands-on environment, not just behind a desk
- Someone who brings structure, follows through, and lifts standards
- Clear communicator who can deal with both customers and staff directly
- Franchise experience preferred, multi-brand experience a bonus
