The role

This role will see you working with both our Dealers and Toyota New Zealand to provide business intelligence for a number of key functions including Toyota and Lexus Store Service Performance as well as recall, warranty and compliance information. 

This position is based on-site at our Head Office in Palmerston North.

Some of your responsibilities will include:

  • Undertaking reporting and analysis for the Toyota Store Service Departments and Toyota Care
  • Conducting variance analysis into budget vs actual and preparing forecast reporting
  • Identifying, analysing and interpreting trends or patterns in data sets
  • Monitoring month to date performance vs budget to identify where strategic decisions need to be made

About You

To be successful in this role you will need to be both inquisitive and analytical. You will be the type of person who loves to work with data and interpret and investigate what it is telling you. An analytical mind will be high on your skillset as will a passion for working with data and numbers. You will also have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to provide recommendations on your findings.

  • Highly developed skills in data interpretation and statistical analysis
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills
  • The ability to thrive in a busy environment and meet tight deadlines
  • The ability to pick up new systems 
  • Previous experience as a Data Analyst or in an accounting role is advantageous
