Customer Service Representative

We are currently looking for a highly motivated and customer focused individual to join our team as a Service Advisor, within our Holden/Hyundai/Isuzu Ute/MG/GMSV (Cooke Howlison) Service Centre.
The job will require the successful applicant to perform a wide variety of essential tasks ensuring we continue to function as a well-oiled machine. The role will require being the first point of contact for our service customers and ensuring they are provided with an exceptional service experience.
This is an exciting and rare opportunity to work in the motor trade industry without a “hands on tools” requirement.
The role will require the successful applicant to:
- Ensure customer bookings are made and enquiries are handled in a helpful and courteous manner.
- Complete repair orders and related documentation accurately and ensure work is authorised before commencement.
- Keep customer informed on progress of job and any changes required.
- Explain the work performed and the charges to the customer.
- Ensure completed jobs are invoiced correctly.
- Work positively and effectively within the team and with other departments/staff.
- Ensure the Manager is kept informed of any issues or conditions that are adverse to the achievement of quality or operational efficiency of the department.
- Relevant automotive experience may be an advantage.
We are looking someone who:
- Enjoys working as part of a high performing team.
- Has strong customer focus and communication skills.
- While not essential, familiarity with automotive processes may be an advantage.
- Has excellent computer/administration skills.
The Job also requires that you:
- Have New Zealand Residency or a valid New Zealand Work Visa (preferred).
- Have a current full drivers licence
- pass a pre employment drug and alcohol test
