We are seeking a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to join our TSB Technology Team this role can be based in any of the above mentioned centres.
This role is responsible for hands-on technical implementation and development of Test Scripts, Automation Pipelines and Quality Management capability in our Enterprise Integration (API) platforms, contributing to solution planning, delivery and optimisation of the quality of these services.
Your responsibilities will be:
- Creating and establishing quality management frameworks for software applications and integration services, as well as managing configurations and code modifications to facilitate deployment through testing and production environments.
- Guide and participate in solution design planning, defining requirements, writing specifications, providing estimations, developing prototypes, implementing solutions, and planning for dependency management with an emphasis on quality management and value delivery.
- Direct the definition and enhancement of user stories and acceptance criteria for both delivery and regression testing processes.
- Ensure that security, performance, and data integrity standards are maintained across the team's services and integration points, which includes staying informed about current security issues, guidelines, and addressing any security concerns.
- Oversee quality assurance efforts to confirm that solution requirements are fulfilled, employing an automation-first strategy.
- Deliver proactive management of business and service support across the team's services, including incident response in accordance with established policies and processes.
Your qualifications include:
- Over 8 years of experience as a Test Automation Engineer.
- At least 3 years of automation testing experience within cross-functional Agile Teams.
- Proven commercial experience in API-Led web and mobile application ecosystems.
- Appropriate technology certifications achieved from associate to expert levels. Strong planning, negotiation, and communication abilities.
- Previous experience in the financial services sector.
