The Senior Performance & Insights Analyst at Wintec supports the Analytics, Information and Performance (AIP) team to manage and analyse key data and information that supports business planning, key performance indicators and external reporting expectations.  This role will collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure that key information is available to support strategic decision making.  This position should be comfortable from managing data (e.g. ETL) through to the creation of reports.

We are looking for a new team member to join the Analytics, Insights and Performance (AIP) team to produce and analyse key information to help align Wintec’s performance to internal and external expectations.

The Senior Performance & Insights Analyst will support high-quality information management and organisational performance by strengthening knowledge-sharing practices, maintaining reliable data assets, and enabling informed decision-making across Wintec. You’ll contribute to continuous improvements in data quality, governance, and reporting, develop and manage internal reporting systems, and translate complex information into clear insights for stakeholders.

You will work collaboratively across business units to understand information needs, ensure robust and cost-effective processes, and contribute to strategic planning, benchmarking, and AIP project delivery. The role also maintains key information sources, supports organisational self-assessment, and ensures accurate and timely reporting to external partners such as the TEC.

You’ll bring a relevant tertiary qualification and experience in data analysis, performance reporting, and interpreting trends. You are confident working with SQL, visualisation tools, and multiple information sources, with a strong understanding of the tertiary education sector and the impacts of external policy changes.

You’re known for sound judgement, innovative thinking, and the ability to anticipate stakeholder needs while navigating competing priorities. Collaborative and adaptable, you build strong relationships, contribute effectively within a team, and actively seek opportunities to improve processes and systems.
