We are seeking a Senior People and Culture Coordinator for a 12-month fixed term maternity leave cover. This role will require you to apply specialist human resources and sector knowledge, initiative, analytical and creative thinking in the delivery of solutions. 

The Senior People & Culture Coordinator is based in our Toi Ohomai | Te PÅ«kenga division reporting to the Regional People & Culture Director and will be responsible for:  

  • Providing high quality and specialised administration and coordination support 
  • Drafting and preparation of papers and reports
  • Liaising with internal and external stakeholders
  • Supporting and coordinating meetings, projects, activities, and events

To be successful in the role you will have:  

  • Experience working in a people and culture team
  • Experience supporting senior people and culture delivery 
  • Understanding of and previous involvement in delivery of people and culture frameworks, policies, standards including reporting and analytics
  • Excellent people engagement skills, strong written and verbal communication and the ability to anticipate needs and apply initiative 
  • Graduate level tertiary qualification in a relevant field, Human Resources, Health and Safety or Business Administration

This role offers a flexible location. The successful candidate can be based in any of the following campus locations: Toi Ohomai Windermere (Tauranga), Toi Ohomai Mokoia (Rotorua), Wintec (Hamilton), EIT (Hawkes Bay) or EIT (Gisborne).
