EIT's IDEAschool is seeking Expressions of Interest from passionate and experienced Lecturers in Creative Practice (Design) to inspire the next generation of designers at ZYU, our Shaoxing (China) campus.
This role delivers teaching in graphic design, digital design, and visual communication and includes travel to China for teaching blocks at our joint international campus. You will contribute to curriculum development, research, and the ongoing growth of our creative programmes within a dynamic, innovative environment.
This is a New Zealand-based role with two teaching blocks in China each year (up to 10 weeks each). Outside of these periods, you will work from your New Zealand base and engage with the IDEAschool team and programmes. We welcome applications from candidates based across New Zealand and are open to considering full or part-time arrangements.
The appointing salary for this role will be dependent on skills and experience. You’ll also receive a travel allowance during teaching blocks in China.

This role includes regular travel to China. The successful candidate will need to be able to meet the requirements for a Chinese work visa in Zhejiang Provence. We recommend applicants review current visa criteria to confirm their likely eligibility.
