Senior Information Management Specialist (Architect)
Horizons Regional Council is seeking a skilled Senior Information Management Specialist (Architect) who can provide organisational definition and direction for enterprise data architecture, information models and system scope across multiple business information systems.
This role is based in Palmerston North, and you will be working alongside project managers, business analysts, developers, and Council subject matter experts.
Having some experience in providing leadership and direction to a development, analytical or software development team, offering guidance and fostering a collaborative work environment, to help ensure efficient and effective management of systems and resources will be advantageous.
This position would suit someone who can think laterally, along with a can-do, bring-it-on, nothing’s too hard attitude along with an unflappable manner.
You will be involved in several projects, managing internal and external partner and stakeholder expectation. You will also be able to build on positive relationships with those internal and external stakeholders to achieve practical outcomes.
To be considered for this role you should have a postgraduate education (preferably Masters) in an information science discipline (e.g. postgraduate papers in information systems, software engineering, mathematics or statistics), or at least 5-10 years’ experience.
